Relax and get creative in the wonderful atmosphere of Storybox! In this 2 hour workshop you will be introduced to the art of linocut printing, and will design and create your own set of prints on A5 paper.
Linocut is a process where an image is carved into a linoleum block using a v-shaped cutting tool or gouge. The surface is then covered with ink using a roller and a print is taken from the surface.
No previous printmaking experience is needed for this workshop - participants will be guided through the process step by step and whether you are a beginner or improver you will be able to relax into the creative process and leave with an edition of handmade prints in black ink featuting your own unique design!
Suitable for all levels of experience!
All materials and equipment provided plus tea and coffee available.
