About the course
Join us from the comfort of your home for this 3-week online class that will introduce you to the basics of drawing and painting!
Each week will focus on a different theme, technique or medium and participants will be guided through a range of warm up exercises before moving on to a longer study that you can follow along step by step, with time for individual feedback. Classes will be recorded and sent to all participants so you can continue their creative journey at home!
You will be encouraged to have a playful and experimental approach to drawing and painting, exploring a range of methods and techniques and developing the one that works best for you!
No experience needed!

Course Schedule:
Week 1: Graphite Drawing
Week 2: Charcoal Drawing
Week 3: Acrylic Painting

Materials/Equipment you will need:
-Graphite Pencils (a range between HB-9B is ideal but not essential)
-Willow charcoal
-Charcoal Pencil (optional)
-Eraser + putty rubber (optional)
-Sharpener
-Blending Stump (optional)
-Acrylic Paint set
-Paintbrushes (Suggested - one flat and 2-3 round in a range of sizes from 4-14)
-x4 sheets A4 drawing paper
x2 sheets A4 heavyweight cartridge paper (or other paper/canvas board suitable for acrylics)

Paper Towels/
(Optional) Drawing board + masking tape
